There are places that become an instant hype after they open. CT Coffee & Coconuts is one of those places. The space is huge, but is always packed with socializing friends, working students and daytrippers. It can be quite a task finding a spot.
CT Coffee & Coconuts looks absolutely amazing. The place has a New York vibe with the brick walls and black & white portraits (all for sale). The building used to be a cinema, build in the 1920’s, but the owner of the popular Hutspot Cafe, turned it into the perfect hangout.
On the menu you find all sorts of organic delights; all day breakfast, shakes, home-made sweets, lunch, bites & dinner. So many choices!! This place is also great for drinks in the evening. I enjoyed some good wine here with my friends and they serve their own special CT Coffee & Coconuts beer, that they made with the Oedipus Brewery in Amsterdam. If you prefer something non-alcoholic, just order a fresh coconut!:-)
Last week I spend an afternoon writing for my blog in one of the comfortable bean bags and tried & tested some dishes (the things you need to do for your work..) The small pancakes with red fruits & the toast with Dutch old cheese are excellent choices! Loved them. The portions are small and the prices are low, so you can try different things:-)
