1. The Lobby
In the heart of Amsterdam, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Dam square, you find Hotel V, with the beautiful restaurant The Lobby. A cosy spot, almost like a living room, with a fireplace, a reading nook and great terrace outside. Because of the ‘gentlemen’s club’ interior, it kinda feels like you’re time travelling. Order some oisters, eggs benedict or the amazing Lambada strawberries, with lemon cream and honey ice cream…This is a place where you’ll linger for a long time..

2. Little Collins
Almost IN the Sarphatipark, this place is perfect for sunny days. The owners are from Melbourne and love to share their Ozzie food with Amsterdam. There are a lot of great options on the menu, like 4 different Bloody Marys and a rubarb Bellini. Open from Wednesday to Sunday. On Thursday & Friday you can also enjoy dinner here.

3. Teds
All day brunch at 2 locations in the city. Try the Turkish Eggs, the Churro French Toast or the Donut Fried Chicken. Of course, there are also “lighter” options on the menu, such as Chia Pudding and Overnight Oats. Order an Espresso Martini (or 2) on the side and that possible lingering hangover will disappear quickly.. As they say at Ted’s: “Brunch is the social acceptable excuse for day drinking.” Cheers!

At this all-day breakfast spot, they know what they’re doing. Mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Marys… It is difficult to choose, but there’s something for everyone; pancakes, burgers, eggs, salads, toast, cocktails, and special beers.
At different locations throughout the city!

6. Bakers & Roasters
The menu of this cute spot in De Pijp, is a long list of greatness, with food like Pulled Pork Bagels, Bircher Muesli & Delicious Tortillas to choose from, it takes some time to decide what to eat! Everything is New Zealand Style with a Brazilian twist…get it:-)? You can customise your Mimosa here! Maybe you like passion fruit? New Zealand’s white wines are my favorite, so just a ‘normal’ glass of wine is also a great idea here! Delicious!

7. Staring at Jacob
‘It’s a brunch & bar thing’. In the West of Amsterdam, at the Jacob van Lennepkade, you find Staring at Jacob. Run by the guys from Fraîche at the Westerstraat. You can enjoy a Californian brunch here, with chicken & waffles, eggs with black beans & chorizo or buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup. But there are also lots of lighter, healthier options on the menu (gluten free). In the evening they offer small bites. Great place!
