Restaurant Sardine: best dinner in Bali
Restaurant Sardine in Bali is absolutely one of my favorite places for dinner, if not THE favorite place for dinner in Bali. With an almost daily changing menu, you get the freshest seafood from the morning market at Jimbaran & organic seasonal vegetables from their own farm in the village Bedugul. The setting is romantic & stylish, but still casual & relaxed.
The owners Pascal, a French 4th generation chef, and his partner Pika, a Slovenian artist and interior designer, met in St. Martin (Caribbean), where they lived for ten years. After moving to LA, Pascal workes as a private chef for the rich & famous and Pika brightenes up the interiors of the stars. But they miss the tropics. After visiting Bali multiple times for a holiday, they decide to move and start their own restaurant; Sardine.
The eco-bamboo construction makes this place blend in with its surroundings. In the back you can lounge on a comfortable sofa, overlooking the ricefields. Soooo romantic! The perfect spot to watch the sunset. The menu is amazing & the cocktails are to die for. Must-visit!
Price main course: about $15
