Cafe Camelot, Krakow: Hidden Treasure
Krakow has a lot of great cafes & bars, but Cafe Camelot is my absolute favorite! We kept coming back and had brunch here multiple times:-) It’s located in the Old Town of Krakow and has a beautiful outdoor area in front of the cafe and one more in the back. If you don’t know it’s there, you would probably miss it!
But Cafe Camelot is not just great for brunch. They offer a huge selection of cakes, juices, coffee, sandwiches, pastas & wine. So much to choose from! Really a divine menu and the portions are great. If you order a yoghurt, they serve it with fresh berries, mint & nuts. How delicious! Party on a plate!
Back in the early 1920’s, the cafe used to be a brothel, where artists gathered. When the place closed down, it was used as a filmset for the cultfim ‘Awantura o Basie’ from 1960. You can still feel the’ fin de siecle’ vibe. The interior is unique & enchanting.
Open 9:00 – 24:00, free WIFI, all day breakfast.
