1. Cecconi’s at Soho House
The fancy private club Soho House only welcomes members, but the beautiful restaurant Cecconi’s is open for everyone. They serve excellent Italian dishes. Try the mushroom risotto with taleggio and truffle! OMG… I wanted to lick my plate. Didn’t though… The stunning interior takes you back to the stylish ’30’s. Prices are perfect. For a main course you will pay € 14 – € 28. Make a reservation.

2. Happyhappyjoyjoy South
Yasssss finally this cool concept opened a restaurant close to my home! Try the rainbow colored bao buns and the gyozas are fingelickin’ good too. Don’t overeat because you need to have a dessert. Trust me. They serve 3 different flavours of Japanese mochi ice cream… Great spot for a date.

Cocktail at Pulitzer’s Bar / Weekend Tips Amsterdam
3. Pulitzer’s Bar x Ernest Hemingway
The warm and cosy Pulitzer’s Bar launched a brand new cocktail menu inspired by writer Ernest Hemingway. My absolute favorite is the Cuba Libre Fizz! Like Hemingway said: “Don’t bother with churches, government buildings or city squares, if you want to know about a culture, spend a night in its bars”.
Keizersgracht 234
4. Little Collins
This is one of my favorite brunch spots in the city, run by an Australian couple from Melbourne. You may have seen this place on the list of Boozy Brunch Spots already. Try the Turkish Eggs or the Fig & Walnut Crêpe. Well, everything on the menu is good! I like to have a warm Chai Latte on a cold autumn day. Make sure you are hungry when you go… Portions are big, like they should be!

Amuses at Restaurant Daalder / Weekend Tips Amsterdam
5. Restaurant Daalder
What an amaaaaazing restaurant! I can’t believe I have never been here before. The dishes are creative & unique taste explosions. This place is worthy of a Michelin star. Wow! Soon I will post a special blogpost for this restaurant that includes photos and descriptions of all the culinary highlights.

The Confidential Burger / Weekend Tips Amsterdam
6. Freddy’s Bar
This week Freddy’s Bar, at luxury Hotel De L’Europe, starts serving The Confidential Burger with matching drinks. Every day the chefs prepare 10 of the exclusive burgers at 6PM. First come, first served! The burger is made with the best meat and served with little extras, so you can really taste the high quality of the tender meat. Try the killer Bloody Mary too!
