There’s no better combination than the sun with a good old gin & tonic. Well, almost all combinations with a G&T are a succes, but this one is definitely a favorite! These summer months come with lots of flavour: rosemary, cucumber, cardamom, pepper or strawberries…but where do find the best G&T’s in Amsterdam? These are my 10 favorite spots for a World Class Gin & Tonic!

1. Razmataz
This is one of my favorite hangouts in Amsterdam. I love the wall in the back and I still want to make a copy of it in my own house…but apart from the nice interior, they have an extensive G&T menu with almost every possible flavour you can think of. There is a big terrace outside!

2. Henry’s Bar
New York, New York! For a minute you feel like you’re in The City, but you’re in Henry’s Bar at the Oosterpark! The brick walls & interior feel very NYC. After you soaked up the sun in the park all day, you can cool down with a refreshing G&T at Henry’s. I love to start a night out with a classy gin & tonic here and than move to the neighbours to dance: Bar Bukowski.

3. Mossel & Gin
The perfect spot for two of my big loves: fish and G&T’s! At this foodbar you can order lobster, mussels & oysters, accompanied by a matching gin & tonic. Click HERE for the full menu.

4. The Fat Dog
After I moved to the other side of Amsterdam last year, I discover a lot of new spots, like The Fat Dog. It is all about hot dogs here! Order a ‘Gangs of New York’ or a ‘Speedy Gonzalez’ & sip a tasty G&T. Click HERE for the menu.

5. The Foodhallen
This place has been extremely popular since the opening. It can get very busy on the weekends. At this ‘indoor food market’ you can choose small dishes of the best that Amsterdam has to offer. Order a tasty Cardamom Orange Gin & Tonic at the Gin Tonic Bar and after that…just a happy hop, skip and a jump to a movie at the Filmhallen next door!

6. Door 74
Make a reservation through the phonenumber online, knock on the ‘hidden’ door in the Reguliersdwarsstraat & you walk into a beautiful cocktail & gin & tonic heaven…Cute little cocktailbar with cosy nooks for a group of friends.

7. Tunes Bar
The G&T is the Tunes Bar’s signature drink and there are a looooot of options. Order some good Azian fingerfoods on the side, sit back & enjoy! On thursday, friday & saturday there is a DJ. Located in the beautiful Conservatorium Hotel.

8. Venster 33
Venster 33 opened this year in the heart of The Pijp, one of my favorite areas in Amsterdam. Shop at some of the cute stores on the block, like Anna+Nina and Miuse, than end the afternoon with an ‘Azian Blossom’ G&T (with jasmine tea & orange) at Venster 33.

9. Hugo’s Bar & Kitchen
Another great spot at the Hugo de Grootplein. At Hugo’s they serve excellent cocktails and gin & tonics, but the food is really good too! Order some medium-sized dishes to share with your friends! Sharing is Caring! ♥

10. 5&33
Fancy 5&33 in the Art’Otel has a great G&T menu. Beautiful location & interior in an old house in the heart of Amsterdam.
