For a mini break from daily life, I don’t have to travel far. My cousin, Annemarie from Enfait Magazine, and I pack our ultra fashionable suitcases for a nano escape to Vesper Hotel in Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands. Time to upgrade our levels of Vitamin Sea and enjoy some culinary highlights!

It is over 28 degrees when we arrive at our stay for the night.Vesper Hotel looks modern and clean on the outside, but is a cosy and Instagramworthy on the inside. We have a Sea View Suite, including a supersonic coffee machine and a giant rain shower.

We enjoy a delicious dinner on the terrace, with cocktails and my favorite sauvignon blanc from New Zealand. #NEVERGOINGHOME

The next morning breakfast is ready… OMG! Fresh fruit juice, prosecco, waffles, pancakes, donuts, eggs, organic granola and warm bread.. Because I missed the waffles in Ghent, my choice is easily made. Yummmm!

After a relaxed digital nomad morning at Vesper Hotel, Annemarie and I head to Beach Club Bries, right across the street. This beautiful beach club has huge, comfortable cabanas! After all the hard work this morning, I am actually hungry again. Who would have thought that after a breakfast like that, I could be hungry again…ever.. Time for food! We order fresh sushi, a salad with burrata and peach and a delicious pasta Vongole. Love it all.
